HOME ABOUT US SERVICES CONTACT COPYRIGHT 2010 RELIABLE IRRIGATION, LLC ALL RIGHTS RESERVED New Installations Reliable Irrigation is able to install your sprinkler system from start to finish, which many of their competitors cannot do because, as mandated by law, only a licensed plumber may attach the sprinkler system to the plumbing system in a home. Upon the day of installation, we will first layout the design of the sprinkler system. Then we will discuss the best location for the station valves, sprinkler heads, valve box, controller, plumbing and rain sensor. Our trenchless pipe puller enable us to install your underground sprinkler system without causing major damage to your lawn. We have an extensive product line specializing in Hunter, Rainbird and all other major brands. We use black oil creek poly pipe which carries a life expectancy of over 100 years. We also offer drip irrigation, micro mist spray heads and leaky pipe for those sensitive areas. We will install a Hunter controller  which will turn the sprinkler system on and off automatically on a precise schedule to accommodate your desired watering needs. As licensed plumbers, we will do the all of the plumbing. Also installed will be a rain sensor with by-pass switch which signals the sprinkler system not to water if several inches of rain have occurred. When the installation process is complete, one of our professional staff members will show you the finished product, pointing out where everything is located and how to operate your customized sprinkler system. Repairs Lawn Sprinkler systems are comprised of hundreds of parts and pieces and like anything will require routine maintenance and repair. We provide lawn sprinkler repair for both Residential and Commercial customers. Whether you need one head changed, adjusted or moved we can do it all.  Our service crews have nearly every part on the truck to fix whatever the problem is.  If you have a broken head, a leak, bad valves, or a bad Timer, we can fix anything. Spring Irrigation System Start-ups Open the system main water valve slowly to allow pipes to fill with water gradually. If these valves are opened too quickly, sprinkler     main lines are subjected to high surge pressures, uncontrolled flow and water hammer. Verify the proper operation of each zone valve by manually activating it from the controller. Walk through each station on the controller, checking for proper operation of the zone. Check for proper operating pressure (low pressure indicates a line break or missing sprinkler), proper rotation and adjustment of sprinkler heads, and adequate coverage. Check and clean filters on poorly performing sprinklers. Adjust heads to grade as necessary. Reprogram the controller for automatic watering. Replace the controller back-up battery if necessary. Uncover and clean the system rain sensor, if applicable. Finish and clean any in-line filters for drip irrigation zones. Mid Season Adjustments/Maintenance  As the seasons change, adjusting the watering time and frequencies for the changes in weather is needed. A summer inspection will allow us to make these changes as well as adjustments to sprinkler heads for plant growth and landscape changes. Inspection of all main lines and manifolds for leaks shall be conducted at this time also. This will ensure proper operation of your irrigation system to keep your landscape healthy. Winterizing Every year, before the first freeze, the ritual of irrigation "blow out" becomes the priority for all irrigation systems that are in regions of the country where the frost level extends below the depth of the installed piping. Even if you have drained some water out of the system, the remaining water can freeze, expand and crack the PVC piping (rigid, white pipe), usually from fitting to fitting. Polyethylene pipe (flexible, black pipe) is used in many freezing climates. Although polyethylene pipe is more flexible and can expand under pressure, water left inside could freeze and rupture the pipe walls. Freezing water in the backflow assembly will damage the internal components and could possibly crack the brass body. To minimize the risk of freeze damage to your irrigation system, you’ll need to "winterize" your irrigation system. Revamps/Add-Ons Whether you had a poorly designed sprinkler system, landscape changes, need additional zones, or just an old or outdated system we can renovate it and have it working accurately.
